Default 1st County of London (Westminster) Home Guard.

Afternoon Gents,
I am trying to put together a display all relating to one man & his many years of service, my man was no 28 , 1st company, 1st battalion, 1st County of London (Westminster) Home Guard. Can someone confirm if he would have worn LON1 patches with a Grenadier Guards cap badge please, I have found the site Peter Brydon posted a link for (thanks Peter) and it looks like this is what I need to get, if this is correct would anyone happen to have a spare LON1 for sale?
Thank you in advance,
Wilf.

Thanks Wilf,

Once you have confirmation that you are looking for LON 1, it might be easier to find the County designation and the numeral separately ,if you see what I mean.

Good luck ,I have just acquired only my seventh West Lancs designation to a Kings Regiment affiliated HG battalion in many years of searching and you end up wondering where all the original designations went to.

Peter
