1st GLAMORGAN VOLUNTEER REGT (1918)
img058.jpg
Just going through the photo's and thought would load up this picture as someone is wearing an ultra scarce cap badge (probably be proven wrong) but if you have look at the musician (front row, 2nd from left) he is wearing a white metal Glamorgan VTC cap badge. Jonathan |

Jonathan,
I'm not convinced that these badges were not the standard issue polished back to the bare metal. Love to see one. Hwyl, Kevin |

Kevin,
Oldman said you're gonna have to give it some elbow work to get a bronze badge back to white metal. He has never seen one either but he has another photo tucked away with a few more being worn. Ta. Jonathan |

Following on from the 1st (Cardiff) Glamorgan Volunteer Regt photo, thought would also attached an image of there shoulder title. There were another 4 companies/sections (know someone with another numbered version, not Cardiff though !!!). 1st Cardiff 2nd Pontypridd 3rd Merthyr 4th Neath 5th Swansea. Would be of interest if anyone has the other numbered s/t. Thank Jonathan |

I'm cut to the quick, so I've only got a pair to the 3rd Merthyr company.
Are we talking swap here? I've got PPCs to the 1st, both Officers & ORs, I'll scan them in & get them over. Kevin |
