Very nice, it appears not to have been touched for a while, they were made by Gaunt and normally have seventh cycle Birmingham hallmarks for 1942-43, on the reverse lower portion of the oak leaf wreath, so you can say with a degree of certainty that the majority were manufactured for 12 months from July 1942.
Worn by officers of the Norwegian Army in exile, I dare say that rather more were made than ever bought, the white metal rank and file examples only seldom turn up.

I'd be a little surprised it that particular example had any hallmarks as it is worn by a corporal, but, those issued to file and file in white metal certainly do seem few and far between these days.
