Default Irish FF Cap Badge

Hi all. Just wanted to pick some more knowledgeable brains on this cap badge please. Looks to be blackened brass? Unsure of age also. I haven't seen enough of these badges to make a call on it authenticity wise so any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Many thanks for the reply Steve. May I ask how you can tell that it dates from the 1930s?

Because prongs are pointed rather than clipped straight this is a 1970 army issue , the earlier ones have strait blades to rear or a single loop ,not pointed like your example.
Cheers
Steve
