Default Plastic Royal Welch fusiliers

Gents, does anyone have any info about the attached cap badge.

Its plastic with a narrow gauge metal slider embedded in the plastic during its manufacture it seems.

It is painted the correct colours as the regular metal or anodised cap badge.

It presents similar to the black plastic RRF or Light Inf cap badges that were made for OP Banner tours - however this is painted. Not come across one of these before, any information greatly received.

It appears to be cast from one of the anodised alluminium incarnations of this cap badge - possibly the one disliked by the regiment and returned, as the flames on the grenade appear uneven etc.

Regards all
