Default Gordon Highlanders related?
Gents, small white metal badge bearing a stags head and strap inscribed By Dand. Measures 2" high by 1 .5" wide.

Is this related to the Gordon Highlanders or just a related design of non military Scottish origin?

It looks like a non-military Gordon Clan badge.
