Hi - I have 11 Gurkha badges which my husband "inherited" from his British grandmother - at least I assume they're all Gurkha because they all have the same swords. I've recognized a couple of them from browsing the Internet. One says "Gurkha Transport Regiment", and one says "Princess Mary's Own." We have no idea what to do with these, if they're worth anything to anyone. So I'm hoping for some guidance here. Are they worth anything? If they are worth selling, where's the best place to do that? Any advice would be appreciated!

Well yes they are worth something a picture would of course be helpfull Front and Rear, it would be nice to have a bit of history ie, the origins of how they came to be in your possession normally a family member served with (Officer) the Ghuka,s (Kukri) Ghurka fighting Knife, hence why he may have had them? and in truth there,s history in that there story! if any have a crown thats a good dating feature Queen,s crown being modern king,s crown (for me anyway more preferable), if the latter call it £10 - £15 per badge so look into the history find the thread (story) sell as a job lot to keep them all together, that would be nice or sell singularily, they may sell for less some of them and some slightly more the above being an average, take care love to know how it goes? cheers billy

Thank you so much! I'll try to get a story on these badges. My husband's grandmother has passed away, and I don't know if her daughter will know any of the history or not. We suspect she may have collected them from her boyfriends throughout the years I'll let you know how it turns out - thanks again!
