what colour patch is this

Looks like charcoal gray with a forest green round patch centered to me.

Probably 1st Aust Casualty Clearing Station bc. They still hadn't received their patches approved in January 1918 as at October 1918 so might have resorted to other sources for supply. Either that or it is a private purchase for tailored uniform.

its actually brown with the small green circle. obviously different type of material than is common for ww1 but it could be. could it also be a ww2 patch Keith? bc |
