Default unidentified cloth badge

hi, can anyone identify the badge shown on the attached photo? It came with a 'Kings Badge' (for loyal service) and fuze, a couple of brass flare cartidges and a defence medal.

The badge appears to show a Phoenix with a 5 point star behind with a red centre. The moto is 'semper aliquid novi'

Anyone any thoughts?
