Default 155 Regt RAC FS ?

Please can anyone confirm my tentative identification of this patch as that of 155 Regt, RAC- ex DLI.

It measures 42 x 40mm

Thanks, Stephen.

I have seen a similar patch identified as 181 Field Regt RA, formerly 6 KSLI.

This is a genuine 155 Regt RAC sign (from the front cover of an album presented by the CO on the unit's disbandment):

Default 181 Fd Regt RA

And this is my specimen of the 181 Fd Regt RA sign. As can be seen, the 155 Regt RAC sign has a crowned bugle as per DLI cap badge:

Your evidence seems compelling to me: 181 Field Regt RA it is.

I presume this sign was only worn by the RA Regt post 1942, and wasn't worn prior to that when they were 6 KSLI?

Your help appreciated.

Stephen.

The ideal solution; the badge in context.
