Hi All
I have regularly seen a soldier at the matches who is wearing a white/black/red diced glengarry with brown shirt and trousers. Can anyone identify the regiment? Obviously not RRS but I haven't been able to see the badge. Thanks, cheers, Alex |

Could it be a soldier attached to the Royal Regiment of Scotland who is wearing his own corps cap badge in the glengarry? e.g. Adjutant General’s Corps, Royal Logistic Corps or Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers?

Here is a soldier from the Adjutant General’s Corps (Staff & Personnel Services) attached to the Royal Regiment of Scotland wearing the Tam O’Shanter.

A Household Cavalry officer wearing a Tam O'Shanter as well. Can't be many of those attached to the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Thanks guys, must be something like that. I don't think it was AG Corps as there was a lady wearing that badge and I was able to ID from the shape but probably a different corps.

Could it possibly be one of the University Officer Training Corps from Scotland? I know they attend these sorts of events.
Regards Bill
