Army Air Corps pilots from other Regiments
Hello good people
I found this photo online, They have just been presented with their wings, and AAC berets. My question is, why are these pilots not badges AAC?, Prince Harry was still badges H/Cav when with the AAC, can any Sgt from any regiment train for their wings? Also, do these Sgt's just go on secondment to AAC Regiments to make up numbers, how does it work please? Your time and help are appreciated Chris |

Also, how long has the AAC been taking men from other Regiments on secondment, or whatever they do?

Cheers for the response Marc, I'd had been no good with maths involved!
Do the pilots get called up from their parent units to serve with an AAC Regiment, are they a sort of reserve pool? How does it work please? Thank you again. Chris |
