Default Queen Alexandra Badge to Norwich Police

I have been advised that Queen Alexandra visited Norwich in 1918 to unveil a statue of Edith Cavell. She awarded all of the Norwich Police who attended at the event, with a small8 pointed badge. It was silver wth a blue enamel field, showing a crown at the top above a large letter 'A', with 1918 at the bottom.
It was affixed to the right sleeve of the uniform, and if the officer had been awarded a 'silver star' badge the QA badge was to be worn one inch above it.

Also keen to learn more about the 'silver star' award!

Blurry photo of the QA badge attached for you info.

Does anyone know of this or have one of these?
