It’s not military but I think it’s an association type badge for the NRA of Australia or the SSAA. Something along those lines. If you Google the ssaa their logo is very similar. I think circa 1960-70s BC |

Mick is absolutely correct. It is not the Australian Rifles, or any other Australian military unit. The Australian Rifles was the 4th Battalion. The centrepiece of the badge was a Waratah flower above IV, with scrolls around the bottom and sides. Will post a photo soon
