LOL I actually understand where Paul is coming from. I myself would not give this item a second look, as I have zero interest in the Unit as a collecting area.

I also have to say Paul, good grab. As you say, a sweetheart to an unbadged unit is the only insignia that depicts the existence of the unit.

There are many of us who have lost our way. Just in different directions..... As they say, one man's poison is another man's meat. (Badly paraphrased.)

No Paul, a reasonable thing to do bidding on this. What wasn't sane though, was giving everyone a heads up, whilst actually wanting it! No wonder it went crazy.

I really don't think there was any problem this it is a pretty select crowd of sweetheart collectors and I was most afraid of two British folks over there who would be in it anyhow for the big one. I have a dual interest pins and badges with the low currency right now I got a bagain as this was expected to get around 500.00 CAD

Well reference your new aqquisition!

The difference between insanity and this hobby is you have something to show for it otherwise you have just lost your mind!

Anyways there are too many of us to lock up in an institution !

Congrats on the new CEF family member to an already awesome collection!

Cheers
Rob
