Default Unknown to us . British Badge

Good Morning . We found this in an antique shop in southern Ontario,Canada
The same shop we found the now identified US button .
We're not sure what we have here .
Broach style fastener , back stamped , Made in Gt.Britian.
Thank You for the assistance .
Robert.

Its a Scottish Clan badge. Fairly common.

Thank You Dave . We were a bit off base in guessing what this was .
Do you know which clan this is ?
We checked a book , " Clans and Tartans of Scotland"
by Robert Bain and did not see this particular badge
listed .
Cheers .
Robert.

Could it be a generic badge for Scotland rather than for a specific clan ?

Sorry, I'm not an expert on these items. So can't be specific. As Peter says, it could be a generic item.

Default Clan Badge

Dave, Peter , from what we have found on-line this appears to be
something we could classify in the generic category .
Not something we see a lot of over here though.
Thank You .
Robert.

A similar badge was discussed on this thread, it seems the conclusion was that it is a souvenir combining Scottish themes but not belonging to anyone in particular (happy to be corrected if I'm wrong or have misunderstood):
