They are still out there and can be had, but, you're more likely to run into a reproduction than you are an original.

Not the ones on the dress greens (he kept his original wings & medals) or the one on the pea greens. I do have a few sets of original 'numbered' but unissued, and 1 ("highly prized set") of numbered and issued with provenance.

I went after a broached Scouts Oficers badge on ebay a few months back and got beaten up but im keeping my eyes open

I have this Transkei SF wing but it has pin fastening not lugs Im not sure if its origional, any ideas

I was at my friends place today when I saw this on his wall. I figured all you Selous Scout collectors might like to see it. It's approximately 2ft X 2ft.

The Transkei SF Beret has colouring closest to the SA Medics Beret.

There were both versions, lugs and pins. The issued ones were numbered, like the Scouts Wings. I'm not sure how you can tell the difference between original period made wings and the wings still being made today.
