Some New Army Cadet Force Badges
Just back from a week on a course at the National Cadet Training Centre at Frimley Park. While I was there I took the opportunity to take photographs of insignia being worn by my fellow students.
1) Cheshire ACF arm badge worn on blanking plate. 2) Arm badge worn by staff of the Cadet Force Commissioning Board (CFCB) at Westbury. Worn by approximately 15 to 20 members of the ACF 3) Company Colour worn by B Company of the 1st Battalion Highlanders ACF (Inverness Area) - other companies wear different colours, I will attempt to find out who wears what ! 4) Arm badge and cloth beret badge worn by Lovat's Scouts affiliated units of the 1st Battalion Highlanders ACF (Orkney & Shetland Independent Battery). Different detachments wear colour variations to the cap badge (which is worn on a navy blue beret) - I'll report more on these when my contact gives me full details. PL |
