Hi everyone,
I am attaching a photo of a formation sign which I thought might be an Indian division. I am not sure though having searched through the reference books without success. It is a simple black cloth square with the horns of a bull thickly embroidered in yellow. The yellow stitching is heavy on the reverse. Any ideas welcome. Thanks Bill |

My thanks to Fusilier 27 and Grey green acorn for identifying this. It is the Durham & North Riding County Division - a coastal defence formation formed in 1941.
