Hi All,
Picked up this badge at a car boot, after getting home and googling the motto on the scroll, it's clear it's a badge of Rutlish School in London. Following that, I've found that the school also has a cadet force, which dates back to 1921. On the CCF's site, it explains "It was originally affiliated to the 5th Battalion the East Surrey Regiment (T.A.) but wore the school badge, a practise continued in a number of schools with CCFs, to date.". There's also an old photo of the CO from 1933, with what looks like the same badge on his hat. Does anyone have any further information regarding this badge? If not, hopefully someone else might find the gathered information useful. ![]() |

It was a cadet corps from 1921, a Junior Division OTC 1935, JTC 1940 and a CCF from 1948. All wore the same cap badge.
