Cord Boss & Badge - Which Unit?

Acquired this cord boss and badge recently:







I assume it is a Rifles badge, but am unsure as to the stringed buglehorn being made from gilding metal. Are such gilding metal badges specific to certain regiments, or generic and therefore attributable to a number of Rifles units?

(NB - Screwpost approx 44mm in length).
