Default Lovat Scouts Badge

There was recently some discussion which involved a Lovat Scouts badge. The badge in question had the large heavy eyebrow. I have always understood from earlier discussion on the forum that such a badge with the large eyebrow was a fake, but am now confused as to it being good or bad.

It's not stated in this thread as to why it's bad, but this one does have he fat eyebrow.

While this one does specifically mention the large eyebrow.

And again here. (scroll down)

I am not trying to initiate any kind of dispute, but want to know for my own benefit. If the large eyebrow is a sign of a bad badge then I know to avoid it. If it's not, then I am not sure how to tell.

Thanks,

Terry

Out of period for me but I do note the large brow- the poor seeding and the rounded end letter font which is a bad sign on any badge for me. Regards, Paul.

Ditto
Rounded letter ends is a toxic sign it simply means a robot has cut the modern die.
One should look for square lettering and imagine a master using a pantograph creating the design! Does the design look like the work of a master or a cyborg

Kind regards Chay

Thank you all. So the large eyebrow by itself can be both a good or a bad badge?
