The buttons may very well be original to the cap.
You just need a Royal Logistical Corps officers cap badge to replace the badge that's on it, that would be correct. |

I am waiting for the cap...whe arrive home I will check if the buttons appear to be original or added and I will take a decition!

As said, the buttons may well be "original" to the cap even if they appear to have replaced other buttons in that they were changed by the officer who wore it when his original Corps was amalgamated into the RLC.

The cap is already here...as you told me the badge was wrong...
20210309_174056.jpg it has clear markings of a lugged badge, but someone decided to cut the frontal stichened to put an incorrect slide one 20210309_174954.jpg 20210309_174234.jpg The buttons are clearly added too...look the fashion way of attachment ...but as Leigh says it could be a logical change when amalgamed to Logistic Corps.. |

It's an Other Ranks badge.
I dont know much at all about RLC badges, the officer's first pattern I think lacked the blue enamel, versions of the Other Ranks badges look like officers red and blue enamelled ones, they confuse me. |
