Default Sword Identification

Hi All
I was just shown this sword and was hoping it would be possible to identify the original owner. It is not in great condition but is a nice piece anyway. There appears to be a family crest with initials on the blade, can anyone identify the family? The badge is of a dragon's head coming out of a coronet and the initials are WHT.
The sword itself has a powder horn with and odd design in the strings with the words 'Volunteer Rifles' etched above/below it.
Appreciate any help, thanks.
Cheers,
Alex
