I also would not consider the badge shown as good.
A GMGR ORs badge was sold via an Antony Cribb Ltd auction a few days ago with a Firmin marked slider for £140. As far as I know correct badges have only appeared as one version of strike with one type of slider without a maker mark but with a distinct crimp mark. Regards, Paul

When someone with £140+ to spend on a badge then they must be a serious collector. What baffles me is why a serious collector would not immediately smell a rat with a Firmin badge made in 1918-19. The use of the mark on ORs badges is 25 years too early.

Other way round with me Alan-I could see it was wrong but was not sure if a Firmin mark was in use that early, until you informed me.
