Another regiment I would like to identify from the cap badge etc. Photo not very sharp though. Sorry.

13 Hussars. The bandolier is a key cavalry indicator too.

Disagree about the bandolier necessarily being cavalry indicator. Plenty of pics of RE wearing them and lanyard in WW1 for portrait photos.

I've tried and I can't get a better image. I don't have a great scanner. 600 dpi max. The badge on the original is only 2-3mm and not a sharp image.
