Default Mesopotamian Police Badge
Star of Ishtar typically had eight points similar to my (imperial) Mesopotamian example.

Does anyone have examples of other Iraqi / Mesopotamian police insignia??

Not 100% but I think this chap is Iraq police, similar badge but only a seven pointed star.
