Default Unknown PTS armband?

Hello,

This is embroidered white on Navy Blue. press stud fasteners, with printed number inside 46121.

It has age.

Anyone know what it is please.

I may sell it if it doesn't fit into my area of interest but at present not knowing what it is I cant be sure.

regards

Could it possibly have any connection to the 'Parachute Training School'?

I was told many years ago that these were for Permanent Training Staff of the Women's Royal Naval Service. I have no evidence of this or any idea on the date of use. Perhaps a fellow forum member may know more or be able to dispel this.

Hi Simon

Worn by Queen Alexandras Royal Navy Nursing Service during their first 6 months of training PTS stands for Preliminary Training School certainly worn in the 1960/70's.

Hope this helps
