Pegasus patch
A pegasus patch recent purchase. I think it looks OK, but I know there are collectors here with a lot more expertise in these things. Comments please.

While I'm at it, could I get opinions on these two which I got cheaply and therefore assume are reproductions. I'm pretty confident in IDing the printed versions, but I'm still learning the embroidered ones.

The one in post #1 and the right one in post #2 are original and dating from around WW2, the other one is a common fake.

More repros I assume?
Posted in the repro & forgeries section also, but I've long searched for matches to these. They look very similar to modern repros, but on a darker material. They have been arounf long enough to have a lot of wear and mothing. Very old repros perhaps?

These are well known copies, yours have possibly been worn by a reenactor.
Here's a new set: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123742654389? |

Thanks Luc,
Yes the modern ones you posted are a similar colour, but the reverse stitching is different. Not that it matters! Cheers, Burton |
