Default UN cap badges

Anyone here collect UN cap badges (the brass and white enamel, "globe" type). I don't really know anything about them but I see them for sale occasionally and it occurred to me that there must be many different varieties and makers of these over the years. Is there anyway to date them by construction and or design (again, they all look alike to me)??

I also recall seeing a round, bronze badge with large letters "UNEF". Are those 1950's badges? I'm also looking to find an example of a UN badge (or a hi res photo for now) that would have been worn by an MO that was was in Egypt, Gaza and Lebanon during '58-'59.

Any good references to UN insignia would be appreciated.

Default UN CAP BADGES

Here is a couple of pictures of my small collection of UN badges. Also a link to a site, from Finland, that shows quite a lot of badges, used by the Finish Army and others.

There are many makers from around the world and there are a number of design variations. I have 20 different badges at the moment both metal and cloth/bullion. Some badges are marked with the mission they were issued for i.e. UNTAG. Most of the UN badges are genaric and are used on multiple missions.
The badges on the bottom row of the second picture are two from Multinational Force & Observers and a UNRRA
