Default Royal Norfolk Officer Cap Badge?

Hello,
An original cap badge I think made of gilding metal but the front of "Britania" has been silver plated. The scroll "Norfolk Regt" is made in gilding metal and has been soldered on the main body. The cap badge is quite heavy and do not bend easily. It is 4,5cm height.
It is described by K&K as an officer pattern cap badge, but should be in gilding metal or gilted not silver plated... Does somebody know what this cap badge is and during which period it has been wear?
Thanks for any information.
Best regards.
J-F

Default Ref Norfolk Officers badge

If you are prepared to send me an email address I can send you a zip file with the front and back scans of a Norfolk Regt officers badge. They won't be much good to you if they are reduced.

Hello David,
Thanks for showing your cap badge which is very similar to mine but yours is probably of better quality than mine. I think they could be WW1 period... This design was in use until the regiment became "Royal" in 1935 I think. After the design changed a bit, Britania helmet and palm had modifications, trident became much longer and obviously the scroll "The Norfolk Regt" disapeared.
Cheers.

It is most unusual to find an Officers' badge with a slider.
