Hello!
Hi,
I am interested in all things Belgian (and Luxembourger) between 1939 and 1953 - Some people even have the nerve to call my interests 'obscure'! My particular interest is in the Belgian Army in the UK and Belgian Brigade to Korea, owing to the limited number of books on the subjects above, if anyone knows anything about any of the above I will be happy to listen! Many thanks BP Last edited by Brigade Piron; 25-10-10 at 12:47 PM. |

Hello BP and welcome,
I think there has been increased interest in the Korean war recently. Hope someone here can help with your particular interest. P.B.

Hello
Good evening,
Would this cap be Belgian or French? Way out of my safety zone with anything European, which is why I stick to British and Commonwealth bits. Thanks, Stephen. |

Can I just say I am delighted to see you here - if only because the Belgian Officer's Club at Soest was the best dining in the whole of WEst Germany!
Welcome Eddie |

Badjez - It is certainly not Belgian post war, probably not pre-war (though pre war badges are more complex) But the sidecap is certainly not Belgian.
French sounds reasonable... Hope it helps! |

Hello
Bde Prion,
Thank you. Did I miss something in Luc's comment. I don't think the hat is contaminated with anything! Stephen. |

Prions cause mad cow disease, I think BP wants his username to refer to the Brigade Piron.

Hello
Don't care what country the cow comes from so long as its properly cooked.
I mustn't upset the Belgians as we are in Ypres this weekend. Thanks, Stephen. |

Drop a PM to Mike the forum administrator. I think it should be easy for him to change your username.
