Default 1st Chinese regiment

Hi,
I would like to know if this badge is a collar or a cap badge. The dimensions are 33 mm wide by 32 mm high.
Is there someone who have photos with different lugs?
Thank you!
Luidgi

No problem. The way things are going then Chinese badges will soon be plentiful in Zimbabwe, and perhaps be exported.

Hi All,

Does any one have an image of the cap badge, please?

I'm afraid I didn't even know there was a 1st Chinese Regt.

Hi this link offers images of the cap and collar badges.

https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/a...b-a51300a6ad44

The 1st Chinese Regiment (also known as the Weihaiwei Regiment) has not been well known in the west due to its short period of action from 1898 - 1907. they were involved in the Boxer Rebellion fighting against the Boxers. The badge is worn on the soldiers' turbans.

Hope this helps
