Deliberately Cut Down Parachute Regiment Cap Badge
Just acquired amongst a batch of genuine badges is this cut down but worn Parachute Regiment cap badge. Any opinions or what it is more than welcome. Hoping it's a Free French or similar item....
Thank in advance PL PS it will be offered for sale once positively identified.

I would say free French , if period the cut off points should have similar patina to rest of badge . Cheers steve
