Driving back from the Peak District today, we passed a car transporter from the Green Tiger Group, an Irish based company. The side window carried the name Eugene Kingsmill Esmonde VC.

My wife googled the company, it has a long history of naming its fleet of trucks, including the names of Irish VC holders https://www.greentigergroup.com/downloads/truck-names/ . Esmonde’s citation, as all such citations, is as impressive as it is moving https://www.greentigergroup.com/down...ll-esmonde-vc/.

I am reminded of the phrase “Their names liveth for evermore” What a fantastic and proud tradition this company is showing. And thanks to the author of the first post for sharing! One of the finest “Off Topic” posts I’ve ever read and specially better by adding the extra links to further one’s knowledge. With Respect, David J.
