Well only 9 months of my ‘I will add some more in the coming weeks’ but harder to get than I ever imagined - TS greatcoat title added and a pair of Cardiff collars at last, cheers for Australia Day, Dean

At long last an 11th Service battalion, The Border Regiment (Lonsdale Pals) HMSS cap badge by Sebastian Garrard plus OSD collars for the Tyneside Scottish.
My thanks to the kindness of the Forum members who let me have these from their own collections. Cheers Dean

There is something about badges that make them great for displays, just like yours, well done Dean

Wonderful display Dean - well done on the gap filling ... patience is often rewarded.
One minor point - I had to look in my copy of D Wood The Fifth Fusiliers and its badges - to verify a gut feeling - I think, contrary to what may be expected, the TS Collar badges were worn with flag outwards - four sets are illustrated as such, as badge pairs 452 - 456 - some of the pairs possibly not being Kitchener items (one pair is Bronze for officers, one gilt for officers, one silver for pipers one pair is gilding metal / anodised so the latter of later vintage). Hoping this helps Mike |
