I seem to remember seeing a pattern card which was dated 1968, yet in 1969 I was still issued with brass badges.

What is the pattern date for the brass/GM QC badge Dave? I wonder if there have been dateable changes to the anodised badge in the last 50 years. Regards, Paul.

The year 1969 was what I had in mind for some reason, but, then regarding the gm badges, that phrase, until existing stock is used, does also spring to mind, anyway certainly in the ball park with the end of that decade.

I'm sorry but I do not know when the brass badge was sealed. The anodised badge has changed in the last 50 years, mainly in the colour of the anodisation. This has varied from a very silvery colour to more of a gold, but I doubt any of these differences was classified as a pattern change.
