Default 195th Regina Gilt/Silver Cap Badge

Hi Chaps,

Just added a nice (officers) cap badge to my album - a lovely gilt on silver to the 195th.

I know there are a number of 'officers' versions of this badge and have seen gilt, silver and enamel but I must confess I like the contrast of the gilt on silver example. Condition isn't perfect (lightly used) but still nice for what I assume is a scarce badge.

Original pin fitting and nicely marked Geo H Lees & Co 1916. Photo attached for interest and as usual a better image available in my album.

Cheers, Roy.

Roy... I've been watching you knock down some very nice badges over the last while. This is another one that fits the bill... I'm jealous as it's a great Saskatchewan badge... Can't wait to see what you come up with next... Jim

Hi Jim,

Thank you for that old chap, very much appreciated. One of the joys of collecting is being able to share new finds with fellow collectors.

Very pleased with this one, came in as a result chatting with a friend. Really like the gilt/silver contrast, a real gem.

Not too much on the horizon, although I did snag another beauty recently so will be watching the mail over the next two weeks

Thanks again Jim, cheers, Roy.
