Anodised Aluminium Cap Badges by Toye, Kenning and Spencer

Hi Alan,

I was sent the lot numbers by another member for this auction.

From what I can see there are a few factory cock-ups, cancelled contracts and overpriced estimated items there.

Condition sounds a bit manky on a few of them too but the Loyal Regt items looked good.

The secret to all this is the back of the badge which is not shown.

I wonder what they sold for?

OK I see what you mean - that would have been interesting to have been seen.

Beware though that a exotic badges like this are quite common with unmarked sliders and a few have non factory markings added to sex 'em up for sale. Unless we can see it I can't really comment but this badge was officialy authorised for issue.

Also, I am starting to have concerns about some Timings badges as these seem to be turning up quite oftem with LB&B sliders. Norfolk Yeomanry is a common example of this.

Really needed to see this KC Rifle Brigade badge to be sure.
