I have to tell you I have been running fruit and veg markets for over 80 years and have been a dealer for a further 20 years and I have the upmost respect for this innocent and fine upstanding delight.

Any counter objection to my objection will be met with legal action as I know a bloke who knows another bloke down the pub who had some legal training and says I can sue on a no win no fee basis and I will definitely win.

What next, potatoes being cut into little strips and put into boiling oil until they are dead?

I was sold this as an original but can't find any evidence that the Gurkha Rifles wore a green hackle

I object to the discussion of my wife's melons on this forum, what we do behind the fruit and veg stall is our business.

Besides, how do you know my wife Andy??? (and I don't believe that is NOT a pseudonym-I just could not trust anyone with a Russian sounding name).

Yours, Ivan (definitely not a pseudonym)

I bought this one at Bedford (you can't quite see the badge in this image)

Does it look OK?

I was always taught to squeeze the melons to check for freshness & firmness - also I didn't realise her name was Andy too!
If I put my full name you would know just how Russian it is - although I always thought that giving someone the name Ivan would be terrible

Ben,

I like your pineapple but I prefer my fruit with like this (it came from a fruit market in Blackpool).

If the stall holder was a volunteer for the day would they come in white metal?

p.s. I laughed so much at this one too that I interrupted the missus watching 'bones' on the box to force her to take a look

Quality fruit Ivan.

I got this one from the same guy but there's something not quite right about it.
