Default New cloth purchases

From Great Malvern this weekend, I'm particularly pleased with the Western Command staff car flag.

Can anyone tell me the age of the Cyrenaica District badge please?

The top two "Messenger" badges are new, it seems to be difficult to make a matched pair of these Rob

Cyrenaica District - difficult to say. It is slightly different to the printed examples in my collection. Perhaps yours is an earlier production run, possible 1950s, but it's not the Second World War pattern.
The staff car pennant is very nice.

Very nice staff car pennant, a good score and a good haul of items.

Thanks Mike, what does the wartime Cyrenaica District look like?

This is from a contemporary sign board - it was entitled Cyrenaica Area in those days.

I have seen an EonF sign from that period, but don't own it and cannot recall who does. So I can't post that.

Nice haul, I was on a similar mission. Not a bad show overall, apart from being frozen!

A good haul Lee, obviously I really like the printed combined 53rd Div/RAC patch, if you ever want to part with it.
