Default Help please with Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry

1 The top left is S&G by Gaunt and is I think RWY.
2 Top right is silver by J&Co, Same narrow coronet and large plumes as previous one, no gilt RWY?
3 Bottom left is w/m with long slider, ORs?
4 Bottom right is again by J&Co (Jennens) S&G but wide coronet and shorter plumes.

Second lot is HMS 1926 with same narrow coronet next to the first one shown for comparison, RWY?
Your advice will be much appreciated. Denis

3. was also used as a component part of this scarce Cheshire Yeomanry variant.

Default ROYAL WILTS YEOMANRY

Hi Luke, yes it is a strange heavy striking, almost like a cast one but no sign of ever being attached to a scroll. Any idea of the maker?
Regards Denis

It is my understanding that there is no way to distinguish the officer badges as being RWY or Denbighshire Hussars. The idea of the feathers being different is false and can only be attributed to maker variations.

The RWY Officers' badges were of a different shape but the DH and RWY OR's badges were the same.

Photos pre WW1 of the RWY show the officers wearing the large feathered pattern of the same style that all ranks wore post WW2. I have not seen any DY photos of this badge in use by them.
