Royal Scotts fus, Notrhamptonshires, South Lancs?
Hello Gents.
Had these badges in the back of a draw for many years. I think the Royal Scotts is ok but with replaced Loops. Not sure about the Northhants, despite the Lambourne mark on the slider, which appears to have been cut short. As for the South Lancs, I've seen one thread on this, but it wasn't conclusive. Do loops mean the badge is bent? or just manufactures difference? It seems to me that fitting loops, and not a slider, wouldn't take half the time it would to cut the centre. Any views welcome. |

You are spot on with your observations! The Royal Scots is fine and has just been relugged! The Lambourne Northants is fine too, the slider would have left the factory like that and has not been clipped! The South Lancs however is a horror and the bad apple of the three (IMO), I'd put that one straight back in the drawer.
