Default Royal Engineers Chemical Companys

I came across this arm patch described as "Royal Engineers Chemical Company" I have shown it both ways as not sure if the green is on the left or right?
Can you confirm if this is a Royal Engineers Chemical Company ?

It's RTR isn't it?
I think I have one with the green/red/brown inked in.

Agree with Leigh that they were worn on the shoulder epaulette with rank pips and crowns by officers of 2 RTR and on slip-ons by other ranks.

Interesting thread. Just out of curiosity, which is the correct way to wear it, Green/red/brown or brown/red/green?

Thanks,

Terry

Alan is right with the "from the mud, through the blood, to the green fields beyond", however, the flash is worn green, red, brown, because of the way the tank is facing (left) on the cap badge, attached is a picture of a 2 RTR sign.

I would think it depends on which shoulder you wear it. If worn on the right shoulder orientated as per the flag it is backwards.

Indeed and which way when worn by the (current) RTR on the central chest epaulette or on shoulder epaulettes? Rank slides exist in both orientations.
