Default What do people think of this lot?

Hi all,

Was just looking for everyone's opinion on this lot. They seem ok to me but I would in no way say I'm very qualified.

Ill attach a link to the bottom of the post.

Thanks!

Adam, I cannot say much about the bulk of the items, but the two WLA badges look good from the front. Are they pin back? Hollow or solid? Any makers marks?

There are far better experts on the rest than me so i will defer to them for those.

Terry

Default badges

There is nothing very special there so unless they are what you really want i would leave them alone.

I would say they are all good. With the tin it would be a nice little lot for the right price but I expect it'll climb...

They do appear to be good badges, the one unvoided Loyals being doubtful, but as mentioned, nothing special about the lot. Common badges, but if one needs them, a good start if the price is right. I would not go too much more than the price as it stands now.

Aside perhaps from that German tank badge am I the only one who cannot see a tangible link between the box and badges?

A bunch of KC-era RAF, infy and corps badges inc. a pre-1926 King’s and a shiny tin from 1978 to a Royal Artillery Major.

Is the King's ok? I always thought there was an issue with the quotation marks - should be the same way up and mirrored. Have I got that wrong?

I may have been too hasty in my judgement of that Loyals unvoided badge. There is supposedly a beret sized badge for this regiment and it may be one of them.
