When listing an item for sale (or bidding) if a comma is used [£4,99] rather than a full stop [£4.99] then eBay ignores the comma and reads it as £499

I actually did suspect it was a typo when looking at his other items, but was just wanting to have a bit of fun.

Oh, and mine is still avaiable for 489.00£, so don't delay!!! That's right 10£ off his original price. I'm standing by the phones as I am sure I'll be getting a flood of calls...but probably not from takers!!!
