Default Help identifying badge

Hi,

Can anybody help identify this badge? I have done a lot of research on it and can't find any information on it. I am thinking Irish connection because of harp and the belt around the badge which is seen on some Irish badges from the 20's and before.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Cool Harp badge

I don't think this is military, the fact it says "ESTD 1853", probably a society or club.

yes, I was maybe think a maritime company or something along those lines but can't find any reference to it anywhere. Obviously an Irish connection of some sort.

Could MSP stand for Medical Protection Society? I know there was one formed in 1892, and they provided legal advice and representation etc, for doctor's.
