Default Opinions Please: 1st Birmingham Pals Shoulder Title

I recently ran across this 1st Birmingham Pals shoulder title, and although I have formed an initial opinion, I wanted to see what others think.

Thank you one and all for making this a fantastic resource!

Cheers,
Jay

Cool 1st Birmingham Pals Shoulder Title

In over 65+ years of collecting British badges I have never owned one of these, original ones now fall into the description of genuine antiques and due to scarcity and age command high prices.

Your badge looks OK from the screen image, but screen images can be deceiving, as to where it is being offered should come into the equation as well as a history/provenance of the title.

Also I notice the "W's and the K" are not voided.

These are only opinions, but if looking for advice, buyer beware . . !

Rob

There is an online dealer who regularly has all three of the Birmingham Battalion shoulder titles on sale, listed separately, never as a set, and as soon as one sells, another appears. They look OK from the front but the backs are never shown. Just a cautionary tale - duds are about, and they are increasingly good, at least from the front.
