Default Buckinghamshire Battalion Buttons

Please can anyone tell me what pattern of button was worn by this Battalion during its history, and specifically was there an Officers pattern?

Thanks
Rob

This site suggests that Officers were wearing "small flat greatcoat pattern buttons" in WW2, but it doesn't say what material, metal or horn/plastic?

I wonder if they wore this pattern in metal during WW1 or would they have worn the Ox & Bucks LI buttons?
