Default SAS Beret Badge WW2

I believe that is a sleeve badge, Post WW2. A genuine WW2 beret badge will fetch£3-£500 or more now look at Bosleys. Just dont end up buying one of mine that has been aged up for £70 ! It will still not be real

Default Arm patch

You are correct that the one shown on Chairborne is a 21st SAS arm badge

Andrew, Jon,

The badge on the Chairborne site is not a 21 sleeve badge, but un uncut or unshaped beret badge. The 21 sleeve badge is a different winged dagger pattern.

Cheers,

Johan

Default Arm badge variants

Hi Johan,
The badge shown is an early pattern and I thought that the cutting down to shape was carried out much later.
I'd have been happy to bet that it was a 21st arm badge.
What's so different in the wings mate that distinguishes them apart please?
Good to see you back on here mate
Jon
